Escape the Embassy - these three simple words appear harmless enough don't they? However, early on in the development of The Bourne Conspiracy these three words would end up giving me night terrors for weeks. Jason's cool, collected escape from the U.S. Embassy in Zurich is arguably the most memorable scene from The Bourne Identity movie. But what makes it so memorable is the exact thing that it made it so challenging when High Moon first began turning it into a level for the game.
The scene in the movie is no longer than three minutes long, features 'two blinks and you missed it' action scenes, and not one gunshot fired, all as Jason calmly develops his exit strategy on the fly. But that's what makes it so darned awesome. Jason's explosiveness and ability to outwit his enemies without breaking a sweat is what makes the Bourne franchise so appealing.
TGC: There was a time when games based on movies were actually pretty good, and The Bourne Conspiracy stands out as one of the better attempts.
Solid movie licensed game indeed. Its unfortunately another High Moon Studios release (i.e. Transformers & Deadpool) with little hopes of a re-release or remaster happening anytime soon, due to expiring license.
As the world reels from the shockwaves of the seismic news that Microsoft is acquiring the proverbial swamp of the video-game landscape, Activision Blizzard King, it only seems natural that our minds should now shift towards what the fallout will be for presumably years if not decades to come.
Another Prototype would be awesome.
As for Singularity, I don't necessarily need a sequel, I just want to see Raven be able to flex their creative muscle again; not just be relegated to assisting with CoD. A lot of the old guard is still with the company.
That's part of what I'm hoping to see come from this acquisition. Revive teams like Vicarious Visions and Ravem to actually allow them to work on their own new projects again.
I'd like to see Activision get the Transformers license again and continue the War and Fall of Cybertron games. the movie games were crap and the game that combined both movie and Fall and War of Cybertron sucked a new Prototype would also be good as well.
Re-imagining of River Raid and the original adventurer Pitfall. Oh Zork is also a great game.

Castlevania Lecarde Chronicles 2

Just because it's an independent fan-made game doesn't mean it's not the greatest Castlevania title in over a decade. This masterpiece truly deserves to be played, but goes unnoticed 😔
Definitely some overlooked gems there. Shadows of the Damned was one of my top five favorite games from the last generation. Highly recommended just for the humor!
Gurumin A Monsterous Adventure. To this day I love that game. Like a light hearted more platformer than combat version of Threads of Fate. I don't know a single soul outside me and my brother that knows the game. sad because it's one of my favourite PSP games I played even on Vita alot. Now I play the PC version a bit lol
I have Dante's Inferno, but I've never paid any of the others. Too few people have played Ico. Still one of my favorite games. As for a game that no one seems to have heard of but me... Undergarden is great. Hard to describe. Watch a vid and you'll see.
