I think you should blame SqureEnix. It's for them as a publisher to allow their games to be published on another platform. And Squenix are ditching the PSP and Vita in favor of 3DS. They still didn't localize FF Type 0.

Cracking little game, while it is not as articulated as it's bigger brothers, it is still good to play and well worth a punt.

As a long time GT advocate I have to agree. The lack of a proper career mode put me off.

It's still a good game in its own regard, but I'll never consider it a "true" Gran turismo experience.

It's good game, controls are great and looks surprisingly good for a psp game back then. But without any real progression and barely no incentives to keep playing, the game got boring fast.

And btw I am not sure why no one mentioned but I have had this game on my u.s vita since I bough my vita on launch. All you had to do is use the file transfer and it worked fine

The headline makes it sound like a bunch of games, or even all of them are now playable on Vita. At least that's how I took it. It's just 2 PSP games are now in the Vita store, wtf.

To be fair there probably are a whole bunch of games that would work but sony hasn't thoroughly tested them or gotten them legally approved to sell to vita users yet.

I didn't have a PSP by the time GT came out, but I heard it was a competent outing. I don't have a racing game in my Vita library, but that's about to change.

As for Jeanne, that's a must-have. Not even a question on that one.

I brought a PS vita and never regretted of buying it. And I can play my favourite ps1 games on the go for an example (Resident evil 2 and Final Fantasy 7).

Be warned, you can buy them BUT YOU CANT DOWNLOAD THEM. I think you can download and possibly transfer to a vita from a PS3 but you cant directly download Jeane D arc and GT PSP.

Fyi, Gran Turismo always worked on Vita it just needed to be transfered via PS3.

Ok people lets be honest I bought an effin Vita to play Vita games lets not get butthurt when trolls zero in on currently Sonys ONLY WEAKNESS. Well this and PS Now beta prices lol. Haven't touched my Vita in over a year sadly it's been regulated to an MP3 player. I digress all I needed were the harvest moon games to satisfy my Vita PSP needs so I'm happy nonetheless. Still so much promise hardware wise the greatest lil handheld ever conceived

why are all these PS1 and PSP games not available on the vita, when we know for a fact that they are fully compatible? there are PS1 games you can download on the PSP but not on the vita. what sense does that make?

In many cases it's a licensing issue. If the publisher doesn't want it on the Vita, then Sony can't make it available. It's probably not a high priority for most publishers to get back to Sony on the matter. Sony started adapting many of the PS1 games to PSP compatibility for publishers though, so they've been releasing much faster.

Important thing most people forget is that Sony does not own the rights to most of the games they're selling on their store. I will admit though, I don't know what would delay GT or JDA, since they're both Sony published games.

It's possible there may be licensing issues with other media content within games themselves too, like music or something.

Sony needs to just open up all the psp, ps1, and ps2 games for the Vita. Do it right now instead secretly letting games get on the system, just long enough for people to buy the games, but then take the ability off to play on the vita. I went and bought Crash Bandicoot when they "ACCIDENTALLY" let CB playable on the Vita. But I waited to long to put it on the Vita and now I am screwed, although I can play it on my ps3.
