Hey guys new ps4 owner here. I know it sounds dumb but is there anywhere I can find out how to use the ps4 OS cause I'm not sure about the things I can and can't do yet. For example is there in game music, Or is it only through that Sony paid service? Also it seems backwards that they decided to list all the games right on the main menu instead of a more organized way like on ps3. I'm not sure if I'm suppost to acess my games through main menu or the "my library" button

Angelic, since E3, when MS had a really solid showing, and done no wrong to be honest, there has been an increase in these kind of articles, kind of the troops rallying, to defend the mighty one. There is no need, as PS4 is selling great regardless, nothing to worry about. But some insecure fanboys, and the new maria , nextlevel who appeared from nowhere are really on the defensive. Wow that's asinine if you believe games haven't been talked about this whole time. When Xbox was "tv, tv, sports, tv" games were the focus for people instead or Kinect and tv. When resolution is all the talk, it's about games not apps. When people discuss indie or AAA, those are games they're talking about.

OT I love the share button and the Twitch functionality the PS4 has. The microphone jack won't ever get used, I think that was a waste. The share button is awesome! Preload is nice but I want physical copies. I think the only thing I'd like from the list on the Xbox side is resuming games quickly. Then again, I always seem to have a patch to download and install... Other than that I'm used to just turning on systems and waiting a minute. Gives me a chance to see if I have messages, requests, or whatnot. Looking at both these lists it could be either way for anyone. Happy gaming!!

Both consoles do things better than the other.
For example, Xbox does apps alot better, the achievement system is superior (god I hate syncing trophies...why the hell does it work like that) and IMO Xbox Live seems more stable than PSN for the most part.
However, the PS4 is outputting higher resolutions, PS Plus is slightly better than Games For Gold (atleast for now) and it is more affordable etc etc.
We all know the differences and the advantages of both systems yet more and more articles outlining the same facts keep getting published...yawn.

Fair assessment. . I also dislike the fact I cannot sync my trophies offline. I have to sign in to sync. . . And where's my saved password for signing in. . I would prefer it to be like the ps3 in that regards. .

Loading time for games is much faster than the Xbox One. Xbox One isn't helping itself with it's huge patch either.

Trophies are faster to load on the PS4 than achievements or trophies on any other system. PS3 was abysmal sometimes.

Dude whats up with the signing in, I've heard a few people complain about this but I never have to do it. When I turn on the machine its just straight in, even if I log out I don't have to put in my password......I'm confused.
(Do you have an account on a PS3 and PS4 still? as I'm just trying to think why I wouldn't have to do it)

The only thing that really bugs me about the PS4 is not being able to sort the games into folders. That home screen is starting to look untidy now.

Nah I mean sometimes I dont want to be signed in automatically but whenever I do sign out, I have to type in my password again. On the ps3 it was saved so you just clicked sign in.

The lack of folders is way annoying but thats not a psn feature.

Better system is subjective. Obviously its the exclusive games, services and communities plus things like pad preference that influence which each individual sees as the better system. Not really. I'm not a fan of added/hidden expenses, and having to pay an extra 25$ for a peripheral (as per the article) to allow you to plug headphones into your xbone controller is kind of a burn, especially when you have to buy batteries for the controller too.

I don't need a snap option. Would prefer to simply see my friends' xbone achievements from my 360. PS4 ain't immune to criticism either mind you. I miss sorting trophies alphabetically by game and by my friends' most recently played at the top.

Transformers just released the other day...and the Sony one didn't require a SEVEN GIGABYTE patch to run!

Multiplatform games will ALWAYS run at higher resolution and better frame rates on a PS4 than an Xbox.

More exclusive content is available for those multiplatform games on Sony than Xbox.

More exclusive titles are available on Sony than Xbox.

Right now, you can play over NINETY games on PS4, and half that number on Xbox.

So, what was your point again?

Installation time differences are horrendous on the xb1. Forza 5 took 4 and a half hours to get half way. (Playable at 12%) Thats one point that nobody can argue. But im "lying" so ill stop here. i can prove that i have one if any of you would like to argue about it. It isnt a pissing contest and i refuse to bash the actual exclusives on the xbox but hearing people spew bull about how close this console's capabilities is to the ps4's angers me. Has a 6GB patch which is downloaded first, and I find it really hard to believe that it took you 4 1/2 hrs to download. I would cry if I had those speeds lol jk. I had it running in roughly 30-45 minutes, but I had 60 mbps at the time

I am pro Sony on many issues, I wont deny it, but I haven't been bubbled up yet, and it doesn't bother me. They don't feel my comments deserve a bubble, but I still speak my mind.

I am not under the delusion though that people most likely do get bubbled up for being pro Sony, like I have said before they are the majority, so it makes sense more would agree with pro Sony talk. Wow lol... This again... Funny how neither company has fully integrated their systems unique features ... Ie ps now/jump in jump out feature or the dx12/kinect features... All the games released thus far have not been truly next gen games ... Either they were rushed launch titles(as expected), meaning buggy games or all beauty no brains experiences... Infamous is beautiful but content wise it sucks compared to previous versions... Ryse is again beautiful but it drops frames ridiculously ... BF4, nuff said buggy as hell. We're just now getting ok games like ufc,watchdogs, alien isolation, evolve,etc. 2015 is when people should be bragging with games like halo,the order, etc. The only thing you can compare is specs and PS4 has the better ( not by miles but significant enough to notice but not enough to ruin your experience if you bought an x1.
