Xbox Live Games with Gold for July 2014

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition will debut on Xbox One as a free download

On Xbox 360, Gotham City Imposters (normally US $14.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through July 15th. Then on July 16th, BattleBlock Theater (normally US $14.99) for free through July 31st.

Well before being all defensive and all maybe we won't like the think we majority of people don't know that. You know because that same disclaimer is no where to be seen online none on the original announcement.

And they have gone to the extend of censoring info. The date for when Max would be available until was removed. So why it's this disclaimer online? Why wasn't it included in the official press release online?

PS+ offers way better deals today, it's what makes MSFT improve their offerings which still are kind of lackluster in comparision so I don't see SONY doing anything that it's not already done.

GWG has gotten better, but PS+ is still offers more... don't see why Sony would do anything unless people stopped buying the service, and complained about it. Seems most of the feedback is positive, so I don't see them doing anything. Not that I wouldn't want more, but just sayin' it how it is.

I have Guacamele for Vita, and it is awesome. I would sat it is better than any digital only game for xbox one. I am psyced I am getting the new version for free.

I do not believe removing games from the download list is possible so they should remain there forever, just to play them Gold will be needed.

For xbox 1 you purchase the game via store...it will que for download but you can stop it. Once you have the purchase history you can redownload when you want as long as you have XBLG.

Guacamelee is awesome from what I have played on PC and I look forward to playing the new edition on my Xbone and it is awesome it is a free game at launch (hopefully Outlast happens soon), sucks the other is the same as last month though I was expecting Lococycle or maybe even Crimson Dragon (then again those are supposed to be quite mediocre lol)

Guacamelee is fantastic. Super colorful Mexican-inspired graphics and music, fun and challenging platforming and a nice fighting system. Metroidvania done right.

Guacamelee, that's a nice addition, considering it's launching as free. Max for another month is fine too. Honestly, the 360 lineup is good too, the amount of people complaining about free games is pretty remarkable.

Don't expect two free games for Xbox one yet. There aren't enough games for that system yet to warrant two free games a month. Be glad you get one.
I will be looking forward to downloading Guacamelee for that is an awesome game. Free is even better.

Struck me as odd, when they announced it they said two games a month, but iI guess they never said new games.
There is still 2 this month, only one of them is the same as the last month. I guess they worded it that way on purpose, feel very mislead. Oh well, better than what was offered in May and all the months prior - nothing.

The sad truth of fanboys today. Because of the competition MS are giving away free games now with GWG. Instead of you fans being grateful, all I hear is wining and comparing. Be thankful these companies do this because they don't have to. Nintendo don't give away free games neither does Steam (Unless the game is a free game like DOTA2)

That's wrong. I just got Sniper Elite v2, Red Orchestra 2, ARMA free on Steam in the last couple months. Add that to Battlefield 3, Plants vs Zombies, Dead Space, Peggle from Origin in the last couple months. Got 4 free games just friday from GoG(yay Alan Wake!). Oh, and all those games are actually free unlike the console games which you have to pay a subscription for.

Oh your probably right about Steam as they have probably implemented a free games service. Steam > everything else and I agree, I am a long term Steam user since 2005. Consoles require a sub fee and people think the games are free.. lol Any who we should be grateful that these corps are giving there subscribers something.
