Hyrule Warriors few more details from this week's Famitsu, Princess Lana confirmed

"Lana, who we speculated was Princess Lana of Captain N: The Game Master, is actually an original character.
Also revealed, Link’s Hook Shot will make a reappearance. It can be used to reach places normally not accessible.
Additionally, when you have certain strengthening items on hand, it’s possible bring down the moon from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask as an attack."

You played a demo build with limited options and none of the late-game customization, new moves, and new items that the game will have to spice things up.

It shows if you think moves and items spice things up. The E3 Demo even had the option to play as 3 characters and it didn't spice things up. But I guess you call "limited options" to being able to play as 3 different characters with 3 different movesets.

I called it quits based on what I played: it started fun but ended up boring. Same reason why I don't buy Dynasty Warriors games.

I don't understand how "moves and "items" makes the game more exciting, but if you enjoy it, then more power to you. I'm not telling you what to like or enjoy, I'm just telling you to keep your expectations in check.
