Metal Gear Solid 4 weapon customization video

In honor of the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, IGN has created a strategy video on how to properly customize your weapons to get the best performance out of them on the battlefield.

The customization will bring a lot of strategy and replayability to the game.

You can choose to go all stealth armed with only a knife or guns blazing with your granade launcher equiped M4

*I am repeating this comment on a number of articles for the communities benefit*

There are a number of people giving MGS4 spoilers and I've already accidently read part of the first line whilst squinting my eyes, trying to hit the ignore button. If you plan to do the same then get a piece of paper to obscure the rest of the screen.

The only recommendation I can give now is to stay away from N4G for a week - or at least the comments section.

Just as a heads up the offenders currently know for giving spoilers are: Sega Saturn, Video Kojima & Lair.

Make sure you scroll gradually down the page until only their name can be seen, if you plan to tackle them.

Regardless if they're fake or not, I personally would not want to take the chance of having the game ruined for me. These people do not belong on this website and I think most of the community would agree with me.

I urge others to continue reporting these people so hopefully the mods will see sense and ban them permanently. Unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to stop them from creating new accounts but hopefully the actions taken against them will be enough to stop peoples enjoyment of the game.

average graphics ,stiff animation ,terrible shooting effects fo re gun,average graphics (imo ghost recon 2 looks better graphically FACT.) BUT decent story guys im not envious i wont be playing mgs4 it does nothing for me i need something more dynamic like insanely detailed character moving from cover to cover with insane animation and chainsawing pls hands of legs of heads off.feet off also i like game engines to be extremely dynamic in game play not cutscene . p.s guys im just being honest guys to me this game should be called average gear solid as everything ive seen has been average.

Seriously, this game could stand up on its own even if it was just a generic 3rd person shooter like Gears. Luckily for us its so much more than that too. Personally I love the stealth, most games I try to play sneaky but its so cool Snake can kick real arse in full combat too. Sometimes I wish Sam Fisher could handle himself a bit better in a gunfight but I guess SC is more about avoiding them altogether. Both are great games but I'm glad they went this way with MGS, as well as the new camera.

In the Metal Gear Solid games I keep my knife and use my CQC (Close Quarters Combat). When they finally added multiplayer I started useing the weapons more. If I had to use the weapons in singal player it would only be my last resort. So I'm going to try to do the same thing with this game. What I love as well you can use the gun to hold up people but not having to shoot them.

The thing that would keep me from using my guns was the difficulty setting. As soon as someone saw my it would be game over, if you that it will help you considerable online. Especially when you're playing as Snake.
