GoodGameBro writes, "Although EA SPORTS UFC has a pretty solid roster of real-life fighters to choose from as you enter the Octagon on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, eventually you’re going to want to turn your focus to Career mode and create a fighter of your own to work your way through The Ultimate Fighter all the way up to a UFC contract and main event status. With ten disciplines to choose from when creating your fighter, however, there are considerations to be made in order to make sure that your fighter fits your style. Let’s take a look at which fighting styles are best suited to which types of playing style in EA SPORTS UFC.
Regardless of what fighting style you select for your created fighter, you’re going to end up with a 59 overall character who has a long way to go to make it into a main event against a real-life UFC star. Fighters in EA SPORTS UFC are rated in three major categories: Stand-Up, Submission, and Ground; there seems to be no better way to break down the fighting styles to help you figure out which style is best suited for your Career mode experience."
EA Sports UFC 4 is back, but is it better than ever?
From PSU: "Without a doubt the best MMA videogame ever made, EA Sports UFC 4 supplements a welcome array of new offline and online modes with a revamped and endlessly sophisticated combat system that everybody can enjoy. For MMA fans it doesn't get any better than this."
Strange as a lot of YouTube beta players hated it. They've had years and just copied and pasted ufc 3 ith a few new haircuts
I agree with this review, I tried it only because it's free on EA Access and figured I'd hate it like I did the other games but lo and behold I loved it and plan to buy it now. The game is so much more fun now that they've made it so much less complicated and inaccessible to non-hardcore fighter fans.
A beautiful reminder of how much I miss Fight Night, check out my review on Watch-Loki!
GAme is great!
I'm hoping they can patch some of this.
Since when is Karate considered ground fighting and not stand up orientated.
