Last week we got the release date for the Japanese version of the game, which will be shipping out on September 11th, 2014. This week we’re learning that people who go to Gamestop to pre-order Naruto Shippduen: Ultimate Ninja storm Revolution are gettung a date of September 2nd, 2014.
In its financial report for the Fiscal Year 2015, Bandai Namco showed healthy numbers for its latest software titles. Most notably, the firm's latest game release, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, has sold 2.06 million units as of March 31st, 2015. The other game figures revealed were:
-Naruto Shippuden Ultimate: Ninja Storm Revolution - 1 million units
-One Piece: Unlimited World Red - 650k units
-Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment - 570k units
I hope Sword Art Online's figures are enough to convince Namco to localise more Vita titles. Digimon and SAO Lost Song would be pretty nice to have!
Just how well does this next iteration in the Ultimate Ninja series hold up? Or a nothing but a bad clone of the series? Find out in the full review of Naurto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.
Have always been a fan of this fighting series. Some of the most exciting combat in gaming.
Length of the story was pretty disappointing compared to the rest of the series.
The Naruto games have had an interesting life compared to its seemingly consistent predecessor, the anime. It started out as an adventure fighter with a variety of ways to explore the ninja world around you, leaping from trees and diving at high speed during minigames to get from point A to point B but, eventually, the game found its own calling somewhat with a story-based, fighting game style.
