The voice-acting is fantastic and the art style mesmerising, but seven reviews and countless awards already testify to that. Maybe it's a mid-season blip, and Amid the Ruins will return it to form. It is hard to see, however, where exactly the series is going at this point. That, indeed, is a problem."
