Well thats a given the game is still in development and doesn't release until sometime next year. Man gamingbolt is really trying to get clicks with this resolution stuff.

Kingthrash3601585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

Its a topic that matters to some and doesn't to others. The game is too early in development and this shouldn't be a discusion . still though if it ends up under 1080p a 1st party exclusive is not a good thing either. Infamous running at 1080p 30 as good as it looks and uncharted already at 1080p with a goal of 60 fps this early in development show just how huge the gap is and how little the 10% helped. I understand 3rd party disparity but 1st party games should at least make 1080p. There is still plenty of time but its something to keep an eye on. ...IMO anyway. I have yet to buy a x1, but I won't buy it at a the same price as ps4. Another drop and I'm in. Right now IMO its overpriced.

AngelicIceDiamond1585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

I'm not worried about any of that right now I just want this spin off Fable to be good and I'll be participating the beta later on.

1080 60 or 30 means absolutely nothing if the game doesn't live up to the hype, or any game for that matter.

UE4 with GI. UE4 is the best multiplatform engine ever, any machine cna run it to the max better than UE3. I hope devs ditch UE3 once and for all and only focus on UE4.

Eonjay1585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

This is an easy one :)
1. The game must be at least 30FPS
2. If going 1080P means you can't hit 30FPS... go 900P

Come on guys, we all want 1080P, but you can't cripple framerates. Thats worse than lowering resolution.

mcstorm1585d ago

I'm just bored of the Resolution and FPS crap this site is full of. I don't care if a game is 1080p and 60fps it it plays really bad I'm not interested.

Games like Forza Horizon and Driver Club look amazing and are both 30fps.

Sunset overdrive is only 900p and 30fps and looks amazing and looks like it will be amazing too. Keep giving us amazing games and I'm happy if its 1080p and 60fps cool but if its not I could not give a crap.

Legacy2121585d ago

Gotta love the under cover fanboys trying to convince people they are neutral

UltimateMaster1585d ago

It is to be expected for the rest of the generation.
It is what it is. It's been said and done a million times.

elninels1585d ago

We need to let this stuff go. Are resolution and frames per second all that matters?

Battlefield 4 isn't 1080 on either console, still looks incredible, and its a crossgen launch game.

Even if its 900p it can still be a beautiful game. Execution of a sound vision trumps lack of power output.

X720 confirmed.
Its ok, fable have flopped since after first one so who really cares.

cubcake1585d ago

Go read a book, dmitrijs88. Your grammar sucks.

killzone6191585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

fable devs never even confirmed a release date for F:L

anyway, the game looks beautiful. online Co-op games are my sh*t!

corvusmd1585d ago

It looked great either way

gameseveryday1585d ago

Given that there is no release date, I won't be surprised if it jumps to 1080p and 60fps. That would be something.

SonofGod1585d ago

I'm fine with it as long as it's not lower than 900p.

dodgemoose1585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

They only have so much power available. Even with optimisation, if they haven't got it running at 1080p or 60 fps at the moment, I would be very, very surprised if they achieved both in the final release. Unless of course they downgraded the game in aspects.

bicfitness1585d ago

Through sorcery, or pixie-dust? Or another helping of the secret sauce? Very rarely does a game ever suddenly leap from a development resolution to something better. Assassin's Creed IV and Titanfall's minuscule boost (792p is where its at now, never saw that 900p update, did we?) are the only exceptions of which I can think. And this is a first party game, so they should have all the access to all the tools MS has at their disposal.

Disappointing, but expected, since the scope of this game is larger.

christocolus1585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

If a game like destiny can be bumped up prior release,I see no reason why fable legends (which is still more than a year away)can't receive similar treatment.however the game looks really good. Quite impressed to see lionhead pushing looked great at e3.I think ill be getting this day one.

Offtopic: is it just me cos I think I can now easily tell when an article is from gamingbolt or dualshockers just by reading the title. Gamingbolt also loves directx12 & 1080p articles a lot. Lol.

XiSasukeUchiha1585d ago

I don't care if is 900p @30fps it still looks good to me:)

XiNarutoUzumaki1585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

What resolution is your Sharingan?

Not my problem. Don't read our comments.

Whatever it ends up being, I find it funny that ppl take "May change" as a guarantee.

Same thing with Titanfall

christocolus1585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

Even if the games resolution remains the same at launch,it won't really matter cos it aint going to spoil the experience. You'll get to enjoy it either way, just like titanfall. I've read many e3 previews and watched videos and the game looks great.
