H1Z1: No One From The Development Team Is Working On The PS4 Version Yet

Pretty crazy that you somehow managed to twist this story into "So the PS4 version will be fun."

PS4 version will be almost as fun as PC version, and it will also not see the light of the day for at LEAST 1-2 more years. They most likely won't start the PS4 work until the open alpha is stable. That'll be in a long time.

No reason why they would be. It's better for them to let the work on PS4's Planetside 2 wrap up, since H1Z1 uses the same engine.

Exactly. Their PlanetSide 2 team has been very busy porting and optimizing the game like crazy, so they will benefit from all the work they are doing once they start the port. They will have to optimize their end of things as well, but porting the game itself by then will be a matter of weeks.

Always intended to play it on PC. But hopefully they'll port it quicker thanks to Planetside 2 experience.

Meanwhile PS2 has been taking ages lol as others have been saying hopefully after porting PS2 they got the experience to port it fairly quick. If not oh well I plan to try it on PC anyway

Considering it takes 1 month to triangle now I believe for ps4 compared to ps3 which was 6 months for a port. This shouldn't take too much longer after the initial pc release I hope.

As a PC gamer, I was actually happy that console players would get the chance to play a survivor game like DayZ style, sad to hear they will have to wait much longer...

SOE have said they'll be finishing the PC version first before they think about porting it over to PS4.

Of course they haven't they didn't even announce the ps4 version. They said it wouldn't be far fetched since they are a Sony company. The PS fanboys were reaching like they always do. Over hyping everything. Not waiting to see the results. Want everything on PS but want no other platform to have exclusives, if it do its deemed trash. We Dont even know how this game is going to be. Check this out, you know what I'm going to do. WAIT AND SEE. Not everything have to be over hyped when its coming to your favorite platform
