If your friends are on Xbox One, get it on Xbox One. This is a game meant to be played with people, so I'd get it on the platform on which you know the most people.

I agree with Ilovetheps4. I was having a blast plating with friends, but going through the campaign alone gets a little boring. Definitely a game you want to play with a party.

You should also take a look at the exclusive content as well and decide whether that interests you or not.

I am loving this preview of the Alpha I hope they have some more Alpha codes. I cannot wait to play this game. Male Awoken or Human will be my class.

I still am working my way through understanding the alpha but so far I am very impressed. If anyone was really wondering how much this feels like Halo then I can confirm that it does. This is in no means a bad thing. If you have seriously played Halo then coming to Destiny is a cake walk. Even the sounds are reminiscent of Halo. I love it though. The PVP is fun and solid, level and weapon design is great. Only thing I can't figure out how to do is customize the weapons, or is that not availible yet? If anyone has the alpha can you tell me? Right now is great though. I like to call it "Betterlands" because I disliked borderlands because of the art design but loved it for the gameplay.

I have the alpha, and played for about 2 hours this morning. I didn't do any PVP though, just did the mission (twice), and built my character. The first time through, they just kind of dropped you into the mission without explaining much, but it was fun just roaming around and figuring it out. I liked Peter Dinklidge's narration as your travelling guide/robot. Definitely felt like a mashup of Halo and Borderlands. I have used both a shotgun and a sniper rifle as my special weapon, and both felt like they had good weight to them.

So far, I am really happy with it.

The PvP so far is just capture and hold (zones). I loved it! You use all the equipment you've unlocked and it's very balanced even though player levels are all over the place. There are also vehicles that you can use. Plus, playing PvP gets you special credits that you can use to unlock exclusive weapons and armor.

One thing I noticed in the mission select screen is that some of the side missions say "PS+ required" while the campaign missions don't. I don't want to jump to any conclusions here, but it looks like you can play the campaign without PS+. I thought this was online only based on past articles but now I could be wrong.
