Zelda Wii U: A Visual Analysis

Now that we’ve received our first official look at the next chapter in The Legend of Zelda, it’s time to do what every self-respecting Zelda fan ought to: analyze it to death.

There are a lot of little details from the Zelda Wii U reveal trailer to talk about, in addition to the visual style as a whole, so let’s dive in.

Was that not a sword stowed underneath the mechanized arrow?

Yes that was indeed a sword, although not the Master Sword because the hilt was different but the sheath was similar. Perhaps the sword will go through a leveling up transformation as well as link and gain strength and new abilities.

Link Should Talk, but Choose His Words Carefully in The Legend of Zelda Movie

Link should have a voice in The Legend of Zelda Movie. While he mostly stays quiet in the games, he canonically does speak but usually holds back on expressing his thoughts. In a movie format, it is better for the character and the story itself that Link speaks.

I just hope it's not a bunch MCU Snarky McJokeface dialog. Started playing veilguard free on PSN (would not recommend) and it's a perfect example of how dialog in contemporary entertainment is garbage.
