Let's face it neither Sony or MS killed it, both were satisfactory no more, no less
Agreed with skoorydook, It was a good show for both but nothing spectacular , really. after the past 2-3 E3s, I think the pattern of game announcements is pretty predictable at this point. Still, there are tons of games coming this Holiday.
Im still hype and happy, that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming. http://www.amazon.com/best-... number 1 best seller baby
Truth be told. Microsoft conference was brilliant. A nice mix of Exclusives and multi-platform games, new IPs and Indie games alike. Realistically speaking for a console that is barely over 6 months old. That was brilliant show. Microsoft delivered the conference, if it were any other company, we'd give them the credit they deserve. But right now, people are trying to claim that conferences were equal when they weren't. Microsofts conference was moulded by us, not necessarily Microsoft. I was waiting for a BIG console that'll accompany my Wii U. My decision is much clearer now. The goal is to own all, eventually.
"But right now, people are trying to claim that conferences were equal when they weren't." To be honest, I thought the Sony conference was a bit better, though none of them both had any killer announcements. Most games were known and there was a lot of third party/indie stuff (in both conferences). The presentation of MS was just a concatenation of trailers and gameplay pieces. I would have much appreciated to see how MS utilizes the promised power of the cloud in any game. I was missing MS talking about the future of Kinect (it seems like they completely abandon it, except for Dance Central), their future plans on improving Xbox one, maybe new peripherals and why exactly Xbox one would be the better place to play Destiny (they claimed that though the ps4 version seems to be superior). What about some more Xbox live announcements? They were concentrating purely on games, as they promised and one can't blame them for that. Still there was something missing and though Sony inbetween did a bit too much talking, I prefere their approach.
