E3 2014: ‘Crackdown’ Sequel Coming to Xbox One

Another entry in the Xbox-exclusive franchise Crackdown has been announced for the Xbox One. The trailer showcases several agents operating to take down a gang tower using the superpowers and over-the-top antics the series is known for.

But it's a Microsoft game. That would be like Uncharted going to Xbox, just seems off.

I'm hoping from the trailer that the whole city is fully destructible and that you can actually bring down whole buildings as the trailer suggests.

I think it's safe to assume that cloud demonstration was for Crackdown 3. I think we see a lot destruction. I really want to play this game, but I'm sure it's a 2016 game.

Why would you assume that a tech demo shown off in a controlled environment on PC was to be used on a console game that can't possibly match the situation shared by the PC?

I'm not gonna go that far with expectations. All I hope is that this game is far more like the first than the second.

I liked crackdown 1, crackdown 2 was OK but it got repetitive FAST and I had to trade it in... Hopefully this game moves away from the monster theme and back to fighting crime and organizations cause I would hate for this game to feel similar to Sunset Overdrive.
