Diddy Kong, Birdo, Kamek, Professor E. Gadd & Plessie Spotted In Mario Kart 8

Five new characters (including Diddy Kong) for Mario Kart 8 have been spotted as future DLC, but is this screenshot telling the truth of what's to come?

I've always wanted the Rainbow Cup, which is all the Rainbow Roads recreated for the most current MK, in this case MK8. Maybe even remake the Rainbow Ride from Mario64 and the Rainbow Roads from the Arcade versions of MK. I think a long endurance cup like that would be awesome.

Baby Peach and Baby DK are only from Yoshi's Island, right? And there's no real story for them being there, right? (I'm not sure, never played that one.) Baby Mario was supposed to be Mario as a Baby, same with Baby Luigi. I think there's Baby Daisy too. If Baby Mario and Luigi are supposed to be Mario and Luigi, then none of them should exist.. Especially not Baby Rosalina.

If they want to charge for additional characters, and even tracks, then I guess it may be fair.

But if they add actual arenas for Battle Mode, those BETTER BE FREE. That's the way it should've been done since the start.
