City State Entertainment captured the hearts of thousands when the spiritual successor to Dark Age of Camelot appeared on Kickstarter and the following incredibly successful Kickstarter really put Camelot Unchained on the map. However, over a year has passed since the end of the Kickstarter campaign with little to no news to get excited about for those not currently involved in testing, are the developers leaving it a little late to capitalize in the hardcore PvP gap in the market today?
The MMORPG Camelot Unchained has a new launch window of late 2025, while the spin-off Final Stand: Ragnarok re-launches next month on Steam early access.
MMORPG players have been waiting for Camelot Unchained for a long time; actually, a long time would be an understand, we have been waiting for Camelot Unchained for what feels like an eternity! Fortunately, the game is still progressing, even if it is progressing slowly. City State Entertainment released their April 2022 End of Month CU Update and there is a lot happening on Camelot Unchained.
The first Camelot Unchained closed beta test is now underway, bringing backers of the game into a newly updated version of the RvR MMO.
