Anyway, this doesn't confirm or deny anything. It just means the 2DS / 3DS won't have an immediate price drop (or that the ad just implies it), since they could announce the drop and have it happen on a later date, which is what happened with the 3DS (According to IGN the drop was announced on July 28, 2011 and was effective starting August 12, 2011).
