Samurai & Dragons was the first free to play game for PlayStation Vita. Sega added characters from their library like Sonic the Hedgehog, Bayonetta, and Akira from Viruta Fighter.
But, now Samurai & Dragons is coming to an end. Service for the PlayStation Vita game will end on July 31 after six seasons and over two years of service. Why? Because Sega’s focus now is Chain Chronicle V, a PlayStation Vita version of their popular smartphone game.

Samurai & Dragons is like Sega’s Puzzle & Dragons. While the gameplay is different, their Vita version of Kingdom Conquest keeps adding characters from different games.
Sega lent a few characters from their Virtua Fighter series to Tecmo Koei for Dead or Alive 5. Now, Tecmo Koei is returning the favor with a Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate crossover for Sega’s popular Vita game Samurai & Dragons.
