Northern Shadow, Skyrim meets Banished in a new open world RPG

I do so love indie game development. One second I’m minding my own business, sipping coffee and wondering if trees dream, and the next I stumble across what may well be the next Skyrim, the next colossal, gorgeous first-person fantasy RPG bonanza. Northern Shadow, however, comes with a twist: it’s also a city builder ala Banished. You have a living world to both explore and build a kingdom in. My kingdom for this game. Trailer below. Seriously this needs to be brought to everyone's attention. This could be a big deal.

This looks awesome. I love the city building aspect of this.

This looks amazing, maybe one of these days I'll have to invest in a gaming rig because I know I'm missing out on a lot of cool stuff. Hell I got into the EQ Landmark beta and coundn't even play it, which really REALLY sucks. Just watched some gameplay of The Forest yesterday and it looked really good. Maybe a Steambox will be more my style, I don't know, I'm behind the times with pcs..

If you know how and have the inclination it would be cheaper to build your own over the Steam boxes (If you are not a windows fan you can use the Steam OS on your self build).

I just built my first pc about 3 months ago. It's a lot easier then it sounds. There is a crap ton of parts buying guides on google or videos of people putting together computers on youtube. Amazon and newegg are good places to get parts from.

Good call, maybe I'll have to look into it. Plus the build your own approach just sounds like a cool project.
