IGN: "We've already gotten a bit of a glimpse of the future with trademark leaks, something that tends to happen to every videogame publisher under the sun. Four trademarks in particular -- Bloodborne, Guns Up!, Entwined, and Kill Strain -- have all made their way out in the last couple of months. This is exactly how The Order: 1886 leaked last year, mind you. Have faith that some -- or maybe even all four -- of these games will see the light of day at E3 and Gamescom."
Mass Damage & Consumer Foundation in the Netherlands has filed a class action against Sony for inflating PlayStation Store prices.
My personal opinion:
Manufacturers and publishers have indeed inflated the industry.
From $700 million development costs for games like Call of Duty, to digital (store) prices for games and DLCs, online multiplayer fees on consoles (why can you play Helldivers 2 online for free on PC but not consoles?) or still preventing sell/lend digitally purchased games.
Sometime in the future, this bubble will collapse.
They should know better, but they just can't help themselves and suck even the last penny out of our wallets.
They should be suing the individual publishers increasing the prices to $80 instead of suing the store. There are plenty of publishers still selling game for like $50 with much success (like E33). But this proves that the publishers are the ones setting the prices.... so again nothing changes because they aren't even going after the main offender. How is suing Sony going to make Microsoft not charge $80 for the next COD? Sony being the number one store in the market doesn't mean that publisher have to charge us an arm and a leg. Again the industry is laughing at us because consumers never get real representation. Just these fake platitudes that are meaningless.
About time. There is zero fair reason why digitally distributed products that you cannot recoup any value when you want to dispose of them, should be priced higher than that of physical copies that entail all of the costs and the benefits of owning.
Sony’s PS5 era has generated over $13 billion in profits, surpassing the combined earnings of PS1–PS4, with $136 billion in sales.
Their recent Playstation revenue is also more than Xbox and Switch combined, obviously in large part due to 3rd party sales.
And this is why the game output for ps5 has been a tad slower…
1) they needed to be… games take longer to develop, and they’d burn out their teams trying to maintain the same pace as ps3.
2) they can afford to… games cost more than ever to push boundaries, so Sony had to figure out a way to match Xbox’s clever profit strategies in order to afford to continue to innovate and take risks.

Thats xbox which includes other services. The playstion division also includes other services as well. Its mostly playtion but not all playstation. What's up with all the double standards around here.
Only because of games prices otherwise it’s the worst generation in PlayStation history especially for games
The tour is coming to the states as new dates have been revealed.
I hope Sony have more AAA PS4 exclusives for 2014 beside Driveclub.
Um, we do need some time to play and finish these games. I am very happy with the spacing of the games considering I don't have as much time as I used to to get through a game.
I don't think the line up is bleak... I got the console for the exclusives, but multiplatform games are still great titles, so it's no real problem at all.
I didn't buy my ps4 because of exclusives, I bought it because Playstation 4 will have the most diverse library of games. I bought the PS4 because I can sell or trade my used games without interference. I bought my Playstation 4 because of the history of reliability and game diversity of the ps3 and ps2 and i'm absolutely certain that Sony will continue to strive to give me the most affordable as well as the best gaming experience that my money can buy. Exclusives are great, but that's not the only reason to spend 400 bucks on a video game system.
Microsoft have 2 extra years on development since they stopped putting out exclusives on the 360 while Sony kept the exclusives right up to the launch of the PS4.
All the games will arrive eventually it might be next year we will have a bumper year for exclusives.
For me I have 12 games I want for the rest of the year so I am sorted.
I wonder what Microsoft will announce and if they will they pad out the conference with 2016 titles like they did last year with 2015 titles.
