A shooter tank on anti-grav rails, who shoots mutant mice and collect cats, while receiving advice from a pet cat, are the kinds of things you’d expect from a weird and wacky game. But when you realise that ScramKitty and his Buddy on Rails is actually an indie creation, made by Dakko Dakko, you then may consider this to be a work of art. Either way, you’ll need a Wii U console to download this title, so you can experience some of its zany and challenging levels guaranteed to last for hours. It might turn out to be a good reason to buy the system itself, if it reaches out to a lot of people of course, which leads to ScramKitty asking on why didn’t more humans came over to save them.
It’s Thursday – eShop update time! And you know what that means: sales!
13AM Games, developer of hit Wii U party title Runbow, is holding a special sale this week commemorating eShop indie friendship.
By Nintendoeverything's Brian:
Scram Kitty developer Dakko Dakko is creating a new Wii U title. Rhodri Broadbent, speaking with Eurogamer, shared the news. Specifics were not revealed.
Broadbent also discussed his “love” for Wii U and how the system “always brings a lot of new potential to gameplay, because you think about things in a different way.”
Nintendo's still got game. The Wii U has had its dry spells since its debut back in 2012, but 2014 was a great year for Nintendo's little console that could. This list consists of ten of the best Wii U console-exclusives that every Wii U owner would be proud to have in their collection.
Great list, i still need to play Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Hyrule Warriors.
It's nice to see DKC: Tropical Freeze get some recognition. It may be a safe sequel, but it improves on its predecessor as one of the best 2D platformers. Also, Retro Studios found the missing recipe for Donkey Kong Country, and it is David Wise's music!
Wii U is a secondary console at best. Don't know how a console missing 99.9% of the games on the market can be a primary console for any real gamer.
