Gamecrastinate: 11-Bit Studios’ latest entry in the Anomaly series takes us in a direction that was probably unexpected. Anomaly Defenders is flipping the reverse tower defense (or tower offense) series on it’s head by going in reverse. Whatever you decide to call a reverse reverse tower defense game, Anomaly Defenders is a departure from 11-Bit’s previous Anomaly games in some pretty big ways. Taking a series in such a drastically different direction can be a risky move. So, what can you expect to see in Anomaly Defenders?

Hardcore Droid - It’s not often that we receive genuine bona-fide messages from the future. So you can imagine our surprise when, on downloading the 800 megabytes of Anomaly Defenders we were greeted, not by the Android game we thought we were installing, but by a completely real message from actual aliens. To our utter astonishment as well as everybody elses in this benighted poop-closet we call the present day, it seems we’d been chosen to take command of the forces of these alien fellows and save them all from certain destruction! It seems like they had literally nobody else to call; we can only presume that Will Smith, Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson were all too busy being f@!ing crazy to respond.
