We are not huge or die hard Kirby fan by any means but we have always had an appreciation for the lovable ball of non-specific organic matter. He’s pink, he’s cute and he’s entirely loveable. He was also the first game I ever completed all by myself as a kid, way back on the Game Boy. So despite our lack of enthusiasm for the series today, Kirby has always held a special place in our heart. While we have enjoyed Kirby more so when he is experimenting (Epic Yarn, Mass Attack and Canvas Curse are some of our favourites), we also love the copy mechanic and combining said abilities to create new and exciting ones. With Kirby Triple Deluxe, the latest offering for the 3DS, we had no idea what to expect. So we were essentially going in blind.
Half-Glass Gaming: "Production of the 3DS has been discontinued as of September of 2020, but there’s definitely an argument to be made for adopting the system in 2021, especially if you just really like playing awesome video games."
Alex S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "While the games obviously are selling well for Nintendo to keep making them, I am starting to get a bit sick of the formula that has been offered in the mainline Kirby games since 2011."
Like a lot of other franchises this year Kirby has an anniversary coming up. I'll be shocked if there wasn't some sort or new Kirby game this year. I also vaguely remember a dev stating they had big plans for the IP in the near future.
I'd like to see a 3D platformer Kirby, like Super Mario 3D World.
Every so often, a character in a video game - be it hero, villain, or NPC - will need to hide their identity. Maybe they’re infiltrating an enemy compound, attending a fancy ball, or just need to rent a motorbike. Sometimes their disguises are convincing, and sometimes they are 'so bad they're good'. Game Luster's Tim Jewett looks at ten of the best (worst?) examples.
think youve missed the best one of all! using chameleon in dark souls to troll other players....had some great fun with this
