Adam Seats: Back in the good ol' days of Nintendo, you could easily count on several Kirby titles per console. The formula is, of course, quite simple: take flying pink puffball, hoards of enemies that you can copy their powers, throw in a few recurring bosses and you're golden! These days, it seems like Kirby is mostly forgotten about, lucky to get a single unique release per console. The upswing of this, however, is that HAL Laboratory knows they're expected to put out their very best product with each release, and they do well not to disappoint. The newest Kirby, Triple Deluxe, completely blew me out of the water – it is hands down one of the best traditional Kirby games to date.
Half-Glass Gaming: "Production of the 3DS has been discontinued as of September of 2020, but there’s definitely an argument to be made for adopting the system in 2021, especially if you just really like playing awesome video games."
Alex S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "While the games obviously are selling well for Nintendo to keep making them, I am starting to get a bit sick of the formula that has been offered in the mainline Kirby games since 2011."
Like a lot of other franchises this year Kirby has an anniversary coming up. I'll be shocked if there wasn't some sort or new Kirby game this year. I also vaguely remember a dev stating they had big plans for the IP in the near future.
I'd like to see a 3D platformer Kirby, like Super Mario 3D World.
Every so often, a character in a video game - be it hero, villain, or NPC - will need to hide their identity. Maybe they’re infiltrating an enemy compound, attending a fancy ball, or just need to rent a motorbike. Sometimes their disguises are convincing, and sometimes they are 'so bad they're good'. Game Luster's Tim Jewett looks at ten of the best (worst?) examples.
think youve missed the best one of all! using chameleon in dark souls to troll other players....had some great fun with this
One of the best and most fun Kirby games ever made, and on a tech level I could barely believe it was running on the 3DS, it looks really beautiful and runs smooth even when the 3D slider on Max and in that respect, its use of 3D is among the best on 3DS to date. I could just imagine how good Kirby on Wii U will be judging from the quality of this game, please announce it in the Digital Event at e3 Nintendo! I know I've been asking for too many games to be revealed at e3, but I have high expectations for Nintendo and I believe they can deliver when it comes to quality as I've known them for long time.
