Yeah...I'm really looking foward to this game. I like sci-fi FPS, miss the old days when Halo was first introduced to us on the original Xbox...great times!

The large scale battles for this game, is unbelievable. Hope to see a lot of this at E3...and a release date as well.

PS2, War Thunder, Warframe, Destiny...and the new CoD, man we're gonna be overwhelmed with a lot of great multiplayer shooters on PS4 this year!

Everything is free unless you want some crap on you soldier. KI is a terrible example of a f2p. Think League of Legends instead.

No, you can unlock everything (except cosmetic items) just playing the game.

Using real money allows you to buy cosmetic items like helmets, camo, or unlock things instantly instead of grinding it out.

How's the grind in this game for unlocking equipment?

The grind isnt bad especially if you're killing and capping bases left and right with a whole armada fighting another armada which was fighting another armada. Kills everywhere.

You can also pay sub to gain experience 2x as fast. Grinding is rediculous I hard to unlock guns

No it doesnt work like that. It's 2000 pop server divided in 3 giant continent divided in 3 factions. Though what happens is each faction takes over a whole continent and zerg like army attacks the next continent while being invaded the same way. Faction count is not maxed at 666.

My computer takes a nose dive when 2-3 armies clash especially inside the biodomes.

Hoping proxy chat, platoon chat, and squad chat stays intact. It'll be MAG-like trash talking again and loys of competitive awesomeness.

Really wish proxy chat was in all games so I could antagonize people when I kill them so they could hunt me down so I could have more fun.

It's pretty much everything MAG was trying to do, but set in the future. It's actually in my background right now and I used to play MAG a lot.

I've seen videos of this game in action. All I have to say is... holy s#!t, it looks Warhawk on steroids. Just watching it is fun in itself.

Yeah I watch Planetside 2 YouTube videos and Twitch streams pretty much daily. My TV and surround sound are ready and waiting.

I don't know if the in game tutorial will be changing, but from what I understand it's pretty bare bones and the game has a fairly steep learning curve. Interested people should probably check out some of the beginner's guide videos and look up a Planetside 2 wiki.
