Patrick Hicks writes..."there is so much discussion regarding which console is superior that we often forget that while each gaming system has its pros and cons, all are important to the survival of the gaming industry."
Games Asylum: "There’s a demand on the digital services for inexpensive games; something cheap and cheerful to brighten a dull afternoon that could potentially be bought with leftover credit. With both limited budget and resources in mind, it pays for the developers of these smaller titles (Musashi vs Cthulhu costs just over £4, incidentally) to keep things simple and focused. There’s joy to be had in simplicity if it’s done well, and it’s up to developers to capitalise on this. Nobody expects a colossal, cinematic, RPG for under a fiver. Something simple that’s refined and fun to play? An entirely reasonable expectation to have. Problem is, low budget games can feel…low budget."
Love nothing more than the biggest monster trucks? Come August will be a showdown like no other, with the release of Monster Jam Showdown.
Requesting you to rev your engines and prepare for the countdown, NeoSprint has today gone and got itself a June release date.
That's not my concern. I like Nintendo but I lost respect for them with the Wii stuff. Nintendo is dead to me until they go back to a traditional gaming controller, the fad is over and I'm glad The Wii U is struggling. They might as well just go out of business if that's what they're gonna be about.
I though it was crap last gen but everyone else was buying it, and as a true gamer I hated it and had to live with what it was doing to real gaming, but like all fads, they end. So I'm glad. I think Nintendo is getting what the deserve and I hope Nintendo goes out of business for the crap they pulled.
Actually I would prefer if Nintendo would just go back to traditional gaming and then XBOX went out of business, just leaving Nintendo VS Playstation.
Wow. Not even a console wars article and people are already trolling.
None of the companies named is inherently crucial to gaming. If one falls, someone else will fill the void.
That said, two of them are more beneficial than the other by far.
The amount of console war soldier propaganda posts in this topic is absolutely disgusting.
Screw every last one of you fanboy jerk-offs who are using this article as an excuse to bash the consoles you hate and those who play them.
Nothing is more pathetic or immature than messing with people who own consoles you don't like by directly bashing the consoles in order to get a rise out of their fans.
GROW UP!
I'm going back to actually playing games now. Maybe a few hours of it will wash the feeling of disgust over this childish community out of my thoughts.
