I disagree with all those opinions, and the power thing hasn't proven to make a difference yet and looks to make less in the future. There's my opinion

Raw power is a fact, either you can notice it or not, also, improvements on a more powerful hardware are more noticeable as time goes by, not the other way around.

PS+ beating Xbox Live when it comes to value is an opinion, but really hard to find reasons why Xbox Live is better.

You get more quantity when it comes to Indies on the PS4, quality of Indies is one's opinion.

You thinking that the camera being optional is not an advantage makes me think that you just disagree because the article is "pro Sony", but that's just my opinion

Live is simply better, server quality is fantastic cant remember the last time I couldnt get online with live. Sony need to invest in there server tech.

Yes it does, think about it...
If two cars are built, one at 200hp and the other at 150hp, and other variables like weight and drivetrain layout are comparable, one will be faster. If the same mods are added giving 15% increase in power, the 200hp car will gain more, not the other way around.

you mean to tell me that If a less powerful machine has a 20% improvement in the graphics department it wont be as noticeable as the 20% from the powerful machine. Believe me you will notice the improvement regardless.

Psn is crap, and a raw power (another sony fanboy term) console is not going to change that. Where's this 50% more power?, lol I guess I hear it when the PS4 sounds like its about to over heat with GDDR5. Every screenshot I've seen shows Xbox One games looking better than PS4 games. What a blurry mess, but hey that crap come in 1080p 60fps, lol
(Specs don't matter, the Wii's out sold PS3 and Xbox 360) Its about games and yes Last of Us is great but it didn't sell as well as Halo because its on PS3. (Well now PS4, lol)

You're trying to put words in there that HeavY didn't say. The more powerful machine will have a larger increase, and it will be MORE noticeable. Not "the less powerful machine won't be noticeable"; one machine is more powerful, and the more powerful machine will scale better. That is, literally, all that sentence says.

I m gonna call it right now and say the maximum we'll see out of the one is the current standard on the ps4 i.e 1080p 30fps (if it ever gets there).

Now I'm not saying it will be on par with the ps4 nor that the ps4 wont reach 60fps at some point with much more particle effects and whatnot through hardware familiarity and software optimization.

We'll see 2 years in.

GDDR5 is faster than GDDR3.

I'm sorry but at this point the power is a FACT....And NO it's not going to get closer, even removing the Kinect that have 0% ability to free that power up for the system...There are still people who will want, purchase and use the Kinect so NO they aren't going to screw those people over....

1º) the power diference is a fact and nothing is suggesting that this will change...

2º) Ps4 have more indies on board, fact.

3º) The hardware is much more user friendly because it's smaller, you don't have a huge power box and you can change you HD (if you change you hd in X1 you will void you warranty)

The only thing I would disagree with this list the PlayStation Plus being better value than Xbox Live Gold debacle. It really comes down to preference and choice for each individual, and as I have both a PS Plus and Xbox Gold subscription, I enjoy both equally as much.

Other than that, it's pretty spot on and most of these reasons are why I went with the PS4 in the first place. Better hardware, user-upgradable hard drive (Although Xbox One maybe getting external storage soon) and a vast diversity in AAA games and indie games. :D

Do you not think PS+ being cheaper gives it an edge? What about that it doesn't restrict you from f2p games or MMOs like Elder Scrolls, FF14 etc? That's two advantages. May not be worth it to you but if you want to be impartial, you can't say they do not tip the scale.

If you read that part, then you would have figured out that was my opinion on PS+ vs XBL. I don't play the F2P games, I don't play MMO's and I only get the free games through the IGC. If those are advantage points for you for the PS4, then hey that's great...More power to you and I respect your opinion. But like I said, it all comes down to choice and everyone is different...I just happen to enjoy XBL and PS+ equally as they both offer features I like.

Also, I buy my subscriptions like most people do, when they are on sale...I get Xbox Live and PS Plus for $39.99 every year, so there's no PS+ price "advantage" for me anyways.

Well, the only reason why I said preference is because there are certain people who swear by PlayStation and PS+. Then, there are certain people who swear by Xbox and Xbox Live. Then, there's people like me who just enjoy gaming on all platforms and do not favor any particular side. That's why choosing either of those services is a preference, not a "fact" to make one system better than the other.

But yes, you are right. PS+ does offer more content and the exact same stuff that Live offers and it also retails for $10 less per year.

They are both great in their own aspects but neither have proven their worth other than publishing a few decent looking games each (yes visually) but still none of them offer any real decent replay value as an owner of both x1 and ps4 and until any real amazing games come out I couldn't really recommend either as far as it stands now all they are is a couple of flashy upgraded last gen systems

PS4 has 18 compute units for the GPU and a separate 256MB processor

Xbox One has 12 compute units for it's GPU

There are other differences to point out. Just saying.
