As you may have already found out, another Call of Duty game is coming our way towards the end of the year. No surprise there, right? However, this year’s iteration of the franchise has some differences from the previous games, differences that I consider make Advanced Warfare a game worth keeping a close eye on.
Former director at Activision, Bret Robbins, revealed that Advanced Warfare 2 had a working prototype, but it was eventually shelved for COD WWII.
That is a shame. AW is my favourite CoD. I hope they do a sequel one day.
I still prefer CoD based on historical settings or in near future settings(like CoD: Ghost) ... even though I liked infinite Warfare's campaign ... it was top notch
Game Rant Writes "With rumors swirling about a sequel to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer Games can bring back a few weapons for a modern encore."
GR: "If one series truly defined the seventh generation of consoles it was Call of Duty. Sadly, the series has struggled to reach the same heights on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and only Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare feels like the previous era of innovation and top-notch storytelling."
I quite enjoyed it but I think black ops 3 was the high point.
Modern warfare could be if a few tweaks are made and the new maps are good.
The campaign was OK, but the guns sounded like cap guns and the multiplayer maps were not memorable at all.
Every year we get the same article "# of reasons why we should be excited for the next Call of Duty."
I'm actually looking forward to this years game. I didn't buy Ghosts because of mediocre reviews and it looking like a joke on next gen, but this year the game looks like its actually meant to be on the new systems. Hopefully that 3 year development cycle paid off and the game feels fresh. Plus its one the the only games still showing some local split screen love.
This CoD should be interesting! i like these types of shooters that's set in the future. That's why i like KZ so much, even halo on xbox! yes i said it, halo! see, i do have a soft spot for it, well mostly in between.
Five reasons I don't care:
1) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
2) Call of Duty: Black Ops
3) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
4) Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
5) Call of Duty: Ghosts
We'll see.
I think of a lot of reasons why we shouldn't be excited for Call of Duty, for example there still going to be QS and NS in MP, and the knife is still going to be the most powerful weapon on the game. I do have a lot more reasons but I not going to list them unless some one asks.
Furthermore Sledgehamer are not new, they helped with MW3
