Horrible artstyle and poor mechanics lol... the gameplay in ds2 was amazing, sure it had bugs but that game was great, better than most of the shooter crap coming out every other week.

Still listen to the Darksiders 2 OST all the time, the first big boss fight song is one of my favorites. That was a real surprise hit for me, I'm all ears for the next one.

Yuck, keep it a single player game in my opinion. Not trying to be biased because I run OnlySP haha, but I just think the Darksider games are better off as SP titles. I feel like the game would lose a lot of it's charm if it was experienced with other players and would just become to action oriented. Unless they found a way to make it so puzzles we're completed cooperatively or whatever.

Back when they were making Darksiders II, they wanted to do a coop mode involving all four of the four horsemen. But because of technical and time limitations they couldn't do it, so they centered it on Death in a story that basically ran at the same time as Darksiders. If they are going to set the new one after Darksiders and Darksiders II, they pretty much have to do coop because of the implied ending of the first game.

Well, they could also be controlled by AI if they were to include all 4 horsemen in the game. I'm not sure how it'd all work, but I just hope if they do, do coop, it's something special and not something like Ratchet and Clank All 4 One ha. Bad comparison, but it's the last game I can think of that tried moving from a primarily SP experience to a co-op experience and not succeeding.

I'll love them forever if they also bring it to wii u...im still playing that version of 2 to this very day. Love it dearly and I hope they revive the franchise...

I wont follow Darksiders if the art direction is different . I liked the universe and story , but half the reason i got hook was Madureira's art .

Scrap most of the terrible ideas from Darksiders 2, then go back to the first game and work from there. Especially the loot system was terrible for progression, so i hope they didn't keep that.

Death was not really Death, but more of an errand boy as well.

Thats what the four horsemen do.
I enjoyed the second one way more that the first, wich had some downtime. While D2 never has that because of the progression and lootsystem, loved every second of it.
Also I can recommend the book Darksiders: Abomination Vault, that book brings Death even more to life and you understand his actions in D2 even better!

the first one was awesome, the 2nd one did lots of things better etc. but oddly enough i never ended it :/ where i platinum'd the first.

Hmmm, need to get back into the first game, played it half way through then stopped for some reason and haven't gotten back into it, may have to restart it and see if it can't peak my interest again, haven't played the 2nd one since I haven't finished the first, so if they announce Darksiders 3 I will definitely have to hit up 1 & 2.
