Here's a review for the game Blazin' Aces, which just came out today for iOS and Windows mobile devices. It's fun with a lot fast-paced gameplay, and an interesting way to play aerial games.
Ever since Tom Cruise immortalized those oft-misquoted words “I feel the need; the need for speed” in the classic 1986 movie Top Gun, people everywhere have been in love with the thrill of fast-paced dog-fighting action. Indie dev Red Dot Lab looks to tap into this groundswell of enthusiasm, still very much alive even three decades later, with its debut title Blazin’ Aces.
Makes me want to watch Top Gun now. Isn't there another one coming out soon? Oh yeah about the game...looks good :)
The South African developer, Red Dot Lab, has recently unleashed their retro dogfighting game called Blazin' Aces onto the mobile market. The game is a 2D side-scrolling wonderland of aerial combat that is simple to play, extremely difficult to master and delivers some retro dogfighting goodness onto mobile devices.
Very hard game. I just criticise the controls, they need to be a little more responsive.
Which device did you play it on? For me the controls were very responsive on android. Game has had some recent updates though.
Game is super hard, one of the reasons it is so fun i feel :)
