IR: "So my first reason is The Witcher 3. CD Projekt’s role playing game is only coming on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. They have purposely avoided releasing the game on last gen consoles for a single reason."
For new players trying out Fallout 4, there are a few actions that gamers should avoid making as they journey with the Sole Survivor.
I think i made the mistake of giving Mama Murphy too many chems. Because I could never get my settlement past 98% happiness, and it even cost me the Platinum.
A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.
I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future
On playstation they have been quite successful
All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.
Starfield and Fallout 4 developer Nate Purkeypile reflects on Bethesda's city design, calling it the "antithesis" of the studio's older games
People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.
Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.
There are so many reasons why it should be current gen only but since ESO isn't coming to last gen I don't worry about Fallout 4 / Elder Scrolls 6.
You should've made the title of this article "Why Fallout 4 should only be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC."
The title makes people think you're against a PC version instead of last-gen versions.
I concur with reason #4. Fallout is not only catering to a hardcore audience - with Fallout 3 the series became a mainstream. The bottom line is if they make this game, the marked will follow.
I've 1 big reason, because we brought next gen consoles.
Fallout 4 deserves to run on an engine only worthy of next-gen consoles and PC.
We've seen what last-gen can do, and frankly, Fallout 4 needs the hardware upgrade. Last-gen has sailed...I wish the industry would intentionally steer clear of it when it comes to major sequels since sequels need to be improving the series, not just continuing it.
