Double Fine's hacking action puzzle game, Hack 'n' Slash, is now available on Steam Early Access. Initially conceived during the company's annual Amnesia Fortnight game jam, the title allows you to hack in-game objects and manipulate the world.
You play as an elf named Alice, who's armed with a variety of hacking equipment that allows her to cheat her way past enemies and obstacles. You can hack an enemy to reduce its health or lower its damage, for example.
Double Fine Productions has teased the next Time Schafer game in the latest episode of PsychOdyssey on YouTube.
It looks like a third entry isn't happening soon.
Just how do studios cope with the pressure to "produce a worthy sequel"?
I'm about 9 episodes into this and it's great. They've been recording it for long, long time, pre Kickstarter and Rhombus.
