Yoshinori Kitase, the director of highly successful Final Fantasy VI, probably going to direct Final Fantasy XVI.

Final Fantasy XVI would be visually & technically similar to Bravely Default and would be made available on PSVita, PSNow, 3DS, iPhone, Android and Playstation 4!

lol i doubt the platforms,most likely ps4 and xb1(or who knows ps5 xb2).
mainline titles will be console only
and anyone but toriyama
but kitase+ito+nomura=dream team,
although nomura seems overburdened already and he'll most likely take a break after kh3

"Square Enix needs money" is a strong factor.
Bravely Default is cheap to make, quick to make, easy to make, highly rated & highly profitable.

vishmarx4058d ago

i know but they flat out said the mainline games will be resticted to consoles.
on the other hand .games similar to bd can be released across all patforms ,whilst not being calle FF

Final Fantasy got messy when Nobuo Uematsu and Sakaguchi went out thats it they went out with the soul of the franchise people try to find the reason in many ways but thats the only and real truth... besides the fact that they abandoned the Turn Based Model...

I loved this game till X after that its just garbage... Im sorry.

With FFXIV:ARR they put it right, i hope they do the same with FFXV (i have too many doubts, tho...)

Agree with Edito. Just my opinion. (Liked XII though)

I like the new direction they're taking by actually receiving and asking for feedback, and xv looks incredible! it's one of the main reasons I'm getting a ps4

Immediately thought of the El Dorado zombie dudes in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

Not necessarily a ‘horror’ moment, but I remember feeling really tense and anxious when the Flood were first introduced in the original Halo. I never felt more on edge or nervous in that whole game as that moment. I think it was the whole buildup that something terrible was coming but you didn’t know exactly what.

Another non-horror game that had me feeling it was Subnautica. The deep dark depths, and knowing that sea monsters were lurking nearby, had me jumping at every sound.

That scene where you first see them attack is pretty crazy!

I remember being scared of the Asylum level in the most recent Thief game from 2014.
