GameTap: Deca Sports Review - Six out of ten ain't bad

GameTap writes: "Credit Nintendo for making Wii Sports the perfect game to show off the Wii's remote and nunchuk control scheme. They set the table, and Hudson's savvy enough to follow their lead with its own multisport package.

The 10 games in Deca Sports--archery, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, curling, figure skating, go-kart racing, motorcycle supercross, snowboarding, soccer--strive to go Wii Sports one better, but the results are mixed. Some of these are imaginative, creative, and fun, while others…well, just aren't. But you can't beat the allure of getting 10 games for the price of one, and with Deca Sports you and your crew can set up multiplayer league competition in all 10 sports and single-sport tournaments, too."

Pros:
-A good variety of events; some sports are excellent
-Some nice multiplayer modes in individual sports
-Tournaments and league play available

Cons:
-Sports are uneven in finish and gameplay
-Racing sports are weak
-Some events deserve more gameplay options

If they're making the games, clearly someone is buying them. But it sure ain't me.
