Firefly Studios has some good news for fans of the RTS franchise; the upcoming Stronghold Crusader 2 will see the return of both Lionheart AKA King Richard, the main protagonist of the Crusader series, as well as Saladin, who will be playable in the Arabic Campaign as he attempts to reclaim the Holy Land from the invading hordes.

Today is a bitterweet day for caste sim fans, as Stronghold Crusader 2 gets its final update from Firefly.
Maybe not quite as good as the original but still a great game. I've only recently came across the series but I've ended up buying them all separately over the last month or 2. Original stronghold & Crusader being the best.
Nice to see Saladin back; the Arabic campaign should be interesting.
