Nintendo Power's July issue features a mini-interview with Yuji Horii, creator of the Dragon Quest franchise, about Dragon Quest IV, V and VI's Nintendo DS remakes:
Dragon Quest IV
- Lots of reminiscing about DQIV's release and NES development.
- No details on a new chapter.
- Immigrant town - transfer townspeople with others.
Dragon Quest V
- Portions of V have to be remade from scratch since they're working from a PS2 remake on a PS1+ engine.
- No updates to monster recruiting system to catch up with the DQM series.
- Hint at something new (a la extra chapter in DQIV) for V.
- DQV is his favorite in the series.
Dragon Quest VI
- Wants to make a lot of changes since it hasn't been touched in 10 years.
- More hints at new additions.

force unleashed is a great game. Thankfully the 360 version is bc on the XBO/Series. It looks and plays even better than on original hardware.
A true classic. Recently I was experimenting with injecting ray tracing into this game using nvidia’s SSRTGI. The results were pretty slick!

Yoshinori Kitase confirmed that the reason Final Fantasy VII won't be remade yet is because everybody that worked on the original is busy. When they're free, Square-Enix will get serious about it.
And yes, it will be PS3 exclusive. Sony published Final Fantasy VII.
