UK-based indie studio Opposable Games has just confirmed that it is planning to bring its unique real time, second-screen strategy title Salvaged to the Wii U eShop, should the game successfully reach its Kickstarter goal of $125,000.
Game would be a perfect fit for the Wii U, shame it's a way off from its goal.
Oh wow. This game looks really cool for the gamepad... why can't AAA developers be this creative with the controller? :/
Because Nintendo won't wipe their buts with money the way that Sony and Microsoft do. "AAA" developer are just companies that have gotten so fat that they have stopped using creativity and instead base everything on marketing and trends which is on the opposite spectrum from creativity in an attempt to pander to the lowest common denominator which usually yields the highest profit margin. Creativity doesn't sale games. Marketing and familiarity do. Independent developers who are personally involved in every aspect of their projects are the only people who you will find doing creative things like this.
