Isn't that how usually it is??When new consoles are about to release it's mostly info about the hardware.

Then the following year it's all about the games?

While some people may hate that Sony is pretty quite on the games front.I actually enjoy it just means I have so much more to look forward to Sony's E3. :)).

elhebbo161638d ago (Edited 1638d ago )

Unless there's a new peripheral to show (Move, Kinect), then it would be the new device and some demos and possibly 1-2 games. this is not including 3rd party games.

shivvy241638d ago

ohh ! btw cant wait ! Sunset overdrive, Order 1886, and many more unknown in the works :D

randomass1711638d ago

We're going to get a lot of unveilings I think, not to mention a lot of gameplay footage for games that were announced last year. This year is going to be BIG for gamers, I think. :)

lifeisgamesok1638d ago (Edited 1638d ago )

It'll be all about the software and Xbox One will continue having the better games lineup I'm betting

Uncharted is probably in development trouble and I wouldn't be surprised if The Order is too since both studios that produce the games have had huge losses

Microsoft will win E3

and you wonder why you flunked 3rd grade.

Sometimes, even opinions are wrong.

DanielGearSolid1638d ago

That settles it

I'm convinced lifeisgamesok is a parody account

SoulSercher6201638d ago

Xbox One never had the better lineup. You're deluding yourself if you think it did.

And Microsoft win E3? That's a joke right?

GarrusVakarian1638d ago (Edited 1638d ago )

Lmao, delusion with a sprinkle of trolling. Never change, lifeisgames, never change.

Your comments now sound like typical self-reassurance comments. It's like you aren't even talking to us, but instead talking to yourself to try and convince yourself of something you don't actually believe, repeating the same lines over and over. I see it all the time on here. Frigid Darkness and Georgeenoob are other people who do the same thing often.

"Microsoft will win E3"

No, no, no. GAMERS will be the true victors. Owners of both consoles, who don't miss out on any games, they're the winners. Smh.....

Golden_Mud1638d ago

ok let me be clear , the only way to explain your situation is you're a clear fanboy and I'm not kidding , like really Uncharted being in trouble ??? are u for real ? maybe Amy Hennig left , doesn't mean Uncharted is in trouble , it means that the game took another direction , also The Order isn't that great on the gameplay side so don't become jealous about that .

I_am_Batman1638d ago (Edited 1638d ago )

I am actually starting to worry about Uncharted. There is no need to play it down. Amy Henning leaving is a big deal and now an actor for a main character left as well so they'll probably have to redo a lot of the movocap sessions.

It's Naughty Dog after all so I'm still confident that the game will turn out great but there is no need to act like there are no problems at all.

Also how do you know how good The Order 1886 gameplay is. Have you played it? Is the game finished yet? Do you have information I don't have? All they showed to the public was a couple of seconds of gameplay of an unfinished game.

randomass1711638d ago

Sigh. lifeisgamesok, you make intelligent Xbox One fans look very, VERY bad. :/

I_am_Batman1638d ago

Only if you tend to generalise people.

E3s going to be about sequels, Battlefeld 5, Assassins Creed 5, COD (lost count) Far Cry 4, Uncharted 4, Halo 5 (or 6, dunno) Dead Space 4 (you heard it here first) Tomb Raider 2, God Of War 4 (a guess)

I want fresh new ips, sequels are cool, I don't have a problem with them, but when it gets past 3 i'm about done

FITgamer1638d ago (Edited 1638d ago )

I doubt BF 5 will be announced, i mean BF 4 hasn't even been out a year yet. It's not annual franchise. More likely Battle Front 3.

@Hells doubt it, even if they started development right after BF 4 it wouldn't release until next year so i doubt they'd make any announcements at this year's E3.

Hellsvacancy1638d ago (Edited 1638d ago )

You put too much faith in EA buddy "BF4? we'll fix BF4 by making BF5"

BitbyDeath1638d ago

I'd be all for BF5, I don't usually like yearly games but BF4 was held back a lot because of it going on lastgen systems.

A new iteration just for currentgen would be awesome.

Automatic791638d ago

Hopefully E3 has something for everyone.

wonderfulmonkeyman1638d ago

The irony is, there's been tons of new IP's released.
It's just that people don't actually like unfamiliar things, consider these new games to not be their taste, and ignore them.
If you'd like to see one example, look up the sales for The Wonderful 101.

vishant1011638d ago

While agree with you i think the wonderful 100's problem was its platform

wonderfulmonkeyman1638d ago (Edited 1638d ago )

@ Vis
Platform doesn't inherently affect how good a game is, though, so if what you're getting at is that the game would have played better on a different platform, that's just not true.

Control methods are a different story, though, and TW101 wouldn't be as good as it is without the game pad. Especially when looking for secrets or solving a few particular puzzles.

The Wii U's underselling notwithstanding, the game was a great game that people should have given a chance regardless of the platform it was on.
Sadly there aren't that many open-minded gamers out there anymore...

elhebbo161638d ago

It will also be about new IP's so stop being such a negative pansy.

eaise1638d ago

There will be a good number of great games shown off at E3 this year! I personally wish E3 was already here. Only 2 months left ladies and gentlemen. We can make it!

wonderfulmonkeyman1638d ago

The only way this year will be about hardware at all, is if Nintendo pulls a surprise with a new hand-held, but I think it's a bit too early for that.

prodg521638d ago

Sony could always talk about Morpheus or Vita TV. You never know.

wonderfulmonkeyman1638d ago (Edited 1638d ago )

I don't know much about Vita TV and thus will refrain from commenting on it, but I think that the gaming community's unwillingness to mass-embrace the Oculus Rift when they had the chance to, is indication enough that Project Morpheus will not be making as big a splash as people think, let alone hope, it will.

Gamers just don't want to embrace VR head-sets as a gaming main-stay peripheral yet, as a majority rule.

PS4 is Sony's baby now. I doubt anything else they could come up with would rip the spotlight away from it in any significant fashion.
Not after the hype of last E3, surely.

randomass1711638d ago

At the most Vita TV will get a localization announcement, but I think that all depends on how it was performing in Japan. I honestly think this will indeed be about software and nothing more. Publishers should be taking the "games, games and more games" approach to E3 this year.
