Max Level | PAX East 2014: World Zombination

Max Level: In an attempt to become one with the indie game, I threw myself into the Indie Megabooth at this year’s PAX East. One of the first games I checked out was a tower defense game coming later this year called World Zombination by the people over at Proletariat. In this game, you can play as either the humans trying to protect different strongholds in various towns or you can play as the zombies with the sole objective to destroy these strongholds. As a zombie, you can choose various real cities from around the world to attack. Both the humans and zombies have various classes they can choose from. As with many tablet tower defense games, the gameplay is asynchronous. Think Clash of Clans meets Plants vs. Zombies (in my opinion).

World Zombination for Android Review | Entertainment Buddha

EB: After selling over two million units on iOS, World Zombination has finally been brought to Android devices and it’s a welcome edition to the Google Play store. One part tower defense, one part MMO, World Zombination definitely has something interesting to offer to a somewhat watered down genre, but not quite enough to reinvent it.
