Moebius: Empire Rising is the latest game from Jane Jensen of Pinkerton Road Studios, in collaboration with Phoenix Online Publishing. Moebius follows the story of a gifted antique appraiser named Malachi Rector, with a highly attuned sense of intuition and a wide breadth of historical knowledge. Once he becomes entangled in a clandestine organization, whose aims are far from clear, it is up to him to uncover complex historical patterns and guide the course of America’s future. Suffice to say, it’s a lot for one man to handle. Luckily, Captain David Walker joins Malachi early on in his journey to serve as his bodyguard and occasional distraction for the duration of the game.
Good storys are quite rare among the videogames business nowadays. So much the better, if you finally find a game with a moving story. The first game Gameplane.de's Editor in Chief ever played was Gabriel Knight: Sins of the fathers, which got a remake recently.
