Continue Play's Dale Morgan checks out Amplitude Studios' new roguelike, Dungeon of the Endless.
"Dungeon of the Endless is certainly one to watch. It’s immensely satisfying to play, with the same one-more-go appeal that makes the roguelike genre so addictive. The blend of random dungeon exploration with the need to strategically map out your surroundings and manage resources is also compelling, while tying resource generation to opening doors is a stroke of genius, actively forcing you into confrontations in order to build up your defenses."
Megan Spurr, Community Manager:
"Welcome to June – we’ve got robots, we’ve got reMix, we’ve got Resnarkled (I didn’t make that word up, they did) and other things like DLC but I couldn’t find a way to make them start with “r”. There is plenty to get to for console and PC, so let’s jump in"
Nice titles! I plan on giving Thronebreaker, NMS, and Kingdom Hearts a go. It's kinda crazy all the Kingdom heart games are on gamepass now.
All the classic Kingdom hearts games are in enhanced 4k on Xbox One X. Time to play them again
Dungeon of the Endless provides a fun and unique, yet slightly complicated, dungeon-crawling adventure, although the fact that the game in its current state is somewhat unstable might be reason enough to wait for things to get updated.
Lyle Carr: "If you're able to invest the time into Dungeon of the Endless, there's so much unique strategy/tower defense gameplay here to sink your teeth into."
