Connected Digital World writes: 2K Games have just announced Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, being developed by Gearbox Software and 2K Australia – and we have some gameplay footage for you.
But more like a cool expansion to BL2, not like a completely new game. Was hoping for a innovative BL3 :/
I gotchu. Many Prequel games fall into the Mediocre/Forgettable territory. (ie. GoW: Ascension, Arkham: Origins) This new Borderlands has gotta try hard to get out of this footing.
It might be what Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was to Assassin's Creed II. In which case it's just using the same world but is a true sequel.
Anybody thinking this is going to be BL3 is going to be disappointed. This looks like a solid game though. There really aren't that many of these types of games out there that play like they do and look like they do.
Considering it says "Pre-Sequel" and not "3", I doubt people would be dissapointed, but I suppose those who cant read deserve to be?
Running on a PC. there is no reason that they cant port the PC version to the PS4ONE
I wish. I was really hoping for a next gen borderlands.
Give it a year or two, I'm anticipating a remastered collection for next-gen.
Probably a business strategie. Announce it a few months after release to people end up buying the game twice.
They could, but since it's a half-arsed game, releasing on next-gen would make people think this was supposed to be Gearbox's high-quality next-gen effort.
console gamer are so funny, having to wait for new tech lul
Love the Shield throw! Game looks fun.
Would like to see some direct feed gameplay.
