Paul Tassi: "Sony took to their PlayStation blog yesterday to congratulate Sucker Punch for Infamous: Second Son racking up a million copies sold just nine days after launch. While it’s no earth-shattering COD or GTA total, those numbers are quite good, and definitely the best in the series’ history.
The news got me thinking about the fate of the other big next-gen launch title released within the past month, Titanfall. How has the game sold since its much-anticipated launch?"
In a simple and concise post on Twitter, head of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella responded to fan requests for a Titanfall x Helldivers 2 crossover two love heart emojis, praising the idea.
Huzaifah from eXputer writes, "My favorite type of genre in games is when enemies are merely animal fodder in the eyes of the protagonist's sheer power."
Fans of the action-adventure franchise have been eagerly awaiting news of a potential sequel to one of the best games on the PS4.
Umm ... how about this?
First we get the Tushima sequel(coz its most rumored)
Then a new Resistance (need new PS SP FPS)
Then a totally new IP (new IPs are always interesting)
And then a new inFamous?
I had a great time with the second son. Never got to play the originals and hope they get remastered one day.
If I had a choice between another Infamous game and another Spider-Man game, I choose Spider-Man. Sony should spend its resources on its winners.
I say we will hear about numbers soon.
Microsoft is waiting for 360 sales to build and proudly announce it sold something million units of Titanfall with no information on the break down on platform.
They're most likely quiet about it because of the amount of dollars they're burning away to get the game out there.Marketing,Bundled Free and Price cuts and the cost of exclusivity. The thing may never bring a profit, let alone break even.Who be proud of that?
Mean while Sucker Punch and Sony are selling a million copies of a game with mostly word of mouth and actually making profit off of it.Lol inFamous probably got free marketing from Titanfall, freakin genious.
Wasn't it a rumor that EA said TF sold a million?
Guess what NPD comes out next week...I wonder what the top selling game will be for the month of march...some ppl smh
