New details has been surfaced for NVIDIA's next-generation GeForce GTX 880 graphics card
Here is all the Specs: 20 nm GM204 silicon 7.9 billion transistors 3,200 CUDA cores 200 TMUs 32 ROPs 5.7 TFLOP/s single-precision floating-point throughput 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface 4 GB standard memory amount 238 GB/s memory bandwidth Clock speeds of 900 MHz core, 950 MHz GPU Boost, 7.40 GHz memory 230W board power http://www.behindgames.com/... As for memory, we can reportedly look forward to 4 GB of GDDR5 at 7400 MHz on a 256-bit bus for 238 GB/s of bandwidth.
These specs are not that impressive but nVIDIA might really release something like this, because these maxwell chip with 20nm will be highly overclockable and nVIDIA will be counting on that I guess
I'm really curious if the tegra k1 chips were integrated onto the card as implied or not. That would help explain the higher memory clocks and lower bus width. Still missing the point I'm most worried about: price. I don't want to see more $1000 cards.
