10 Reasons Why You Should Play SOE's Zombie Survivor Game H1Z1

Zombie survivor game always has a huge fan base but the market lacks a high quality zombie MMORPG. Now SOE is trying to give the MMORPG market which has been ruled by fantasy for many years a little shock, with their nex-gen zombie apocalypse MMO H1Z1.

1 reason alone really, besides everything else, It's Free so any one can try it when it comes out and if you like it you can play it more if not, you've tried and move on.

Actually, reason #10 in the article says it "will hit Steam Early Access in 4-6 weeks for $20" but also says it "doesn't require subscription fee," so its not totally free. I'll definitely be watching some Twitch streams of this when it releases and decide if its worth it myself.

Actually its decided that they are going to bring it over to PS4. At the end of the stream reveal hes says it when they wera sking about it.

The No.1 reason for me is that Ps4 needs a horror game. I know there is Outlast, but I live in Dubai and Outlast is banned here. Here's hoping it comes out on PS4 soon.

Anyone know if the PC version will have any kind of controller support? Somehow I doubt a 360 controller will be supported for obvious reasons, but heard a PS4 controller works easily on the PC too. And I know a PS3 controller works as well with installing unofficial software, but I opted for the wired 360 controller on my PC despite I also own a PS3 too.

All have controller support, you just need third party to do so sometimes.

I don't see why you would like to play a shooter with a controller, you are at such disadvantage but w/e

Well, I am looking at this MMO more as a survival RPG than a FPS. And since this is being designed for the PS4 too, I was wondering if the PC version may be optimized to "officially" support a PS4 controller. I sit at a PC and use a mouse and keyboard all day at work, so I tend to prefer gaming with a controller.

The thing that excites me the most is the scale of the survival experience they're trying forge here. A nationwide sandbox with thousands of players and AI animals and zombies, as well as realistic and in-depth crafting that we could expect in real survival situations.

Smedley said that he wants to open the experience up to people who may want to live out in the countryside on a farm, like in The Walking Dead, can do that and aim to live and survive in peace. Then someone comes along, burns your peaceful settlement down, or tries to kill you and claim the sanctuary for themselves. There's a sense of permanence to that. Then IT'S ON! Or flip reverse it - they join your clan and you build a following and a community like in Woodbury.

The persistence in a world like that, where players have different intentions towards how they survive, it's crazy what is possible on this kind of scale. Really looking forward to the progress they make on PC, and also playing it on PS4.
