idk if im the only one but with the recent The Crew news having Microtrasactions i feel The Division is gonna go that way as well =( i hope not but it is open world and it might be full of microtransactions

Kayant4095d ago

Most likely both are MMO's, Always-Online and have opportunities to include it. I don't see them not wanting to do the same with this.

papashango4095d ago

aren't we passed the point of screenshot teasers?

I mean bullshots have become the industry standard and all knowledgeable gamers know about this practice...

ScareFactor4095d ago

If the Division does have Microtransactions I will be very disappointed. They are not need nor wanted so stop adding them

thorstein4095d ago

Well, my question would be, why should a game that costs $60 have microtransactions?

If the Division is F2P, then I may really be wary of it. Planetside 2 is already a proven so I would rather enjoy that game rather than a new IPMMO that isn't tested.

I think if it's like battlefield shortcuts then it doesn't matter.

lonewolfjedi4095d ago

nope your not the only one I thought the exact same thing when heard about the micro-transactions in the crew

I really do appreciate their conservative releases of info regarding this title. Its brilliant as it makes me anticipate and want it more. This is how it should be done...looking at you AssCreed.
God damn teases, I hate it, but I love it.

I don´t know what to say. It´s third time (I´m not kidding) there is approved news about "The Division new screenshot".
LOL users, this screen is 2 months old...soo I´m going to write an article about another one "new" screenshot...I think I can pick some from August 2013, you won´t remember anyway

Damnit Red Storm, when are we going to get new information about Rainbow Six: Patriots?! We are due for a new Rainbow Six game! :(

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno808d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Flawlessmic808d ago

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

Hofstaderman808d ago

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

Dagexon807d ago

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
