For a while now, the goal in the video gaming community has been to increase and improve interactive gaming. Not just for the players, but for the advancement in technology. We have only gotten so far with the next-gen consoles. However, we can always make something better; that includes finding ways for the player to have more interactivity with their consoles. Finally, there seems to be a breakthrough in the community.
AMD CEO Lisa Su talks about the Xbox AMD partnership, next-gen Ryzen + Radeon chips, and AI rendering tech coming to all Xbox devices.
AMD is really building hype around their unique partnership with Microsoft to help and build an advanced and seamless Xbox ecosystem across all Xbox consoles and devices.
I wonder what she meant by "full roadmap of gaming optimized chips" though? Seems ambitious.
Next year´s Xbox Showcase already looks promising and exciting. Here´s hoping they deliver.
Some odd, deliberate wording, no branding, not 'Xbox consoles, Xbox handhelds' specifically, feels and sounds like they're building towards hardware that anyone can be used or licensed to/by themselves and other manufacturers.
Multiplatform software and hardware 'Xbox/AMD APU'.
Shares vision....we provide chips for money, this deal will sell many chips, we will make lots of money...good vision
The marketing behind this is so heavy that I worry about the actual outcome. Why are they just not showing us the product, why all this talking in market speak?

Game Pressure met with the one and only Josh Sawyer at Digital Dragons and chatted about RPGs, Pentiment, Pillars of Eternity, the state of the industry, and the genre.
this is different, imagine if your pissed at something else but the game reads it and says you have to stop.
If I wore the while playing The Last of Us it would break.
What if you have no emotions? :|
Good, now they can sense how angry gamers get when they sell us unfinished, broken games and then sell us 'dlc' instead of fixing what should have been working in the first place.
lol I'm so bitter these days :D
This is pretty interesting, reminds me of a cool project I was lucky enough to get my hands on once, Sensum it was called. Basically a strap you could wear and it read your galvanic sensory response to media you were shown and wirelessly uploaded and translated that data. Would be cool to see this as an accessory to the PS4, would be great for games like Outlast or The Last of Us. You should check it out, really interesting stuff.
I'd rather use the DS4 with an accessory than a whole new controller.
