Do you see yourself as a guardian of peace and aim to keep the world from falling apart? Or do you wish to see it burn to the ground as you hold the torch that lights it? Behold, the Jace vs. Vraska Duel Decks are here for you to indulge in those questions in a battle of wits against a friend.
Hasbro Inc.’s Wizards of the Coast, best known for the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop games, has cancelled at least five video game projects as it scales back its ambitions in the industry.
Disappointing.
We could use a few more D&D titles on shelves.
The only major one out there right now is Baldur's Gate 3.
Well they did a very good job of handling Magic the Gathering's 30th Anniversary. The 4 packs of proxy cards for $1000 was so well received last year that Hasbro stock price dropped 40%.
A new G.I. Joe game is in development for a multiplaform release over at Wizards of the Coast, but we'll likely have to wait a while to play it.
The more people that Archetype Entertainment hires, the more it looks like Wizards of the Coast is just trying to recreate BioWare.
The mass exodus of Bioware staff as of the last year or so makes more and more sense lol
It was just running from Anthem; it was running from EA as a whole and, for many, to Archetype. This I like. What would be really amazing would be seeing one of the original Bioware founders leaving their retirement from games and taking a creative lead role at this new developer.
I see nothing wrong with this...on the contrary, I am looking forward to their next project.
I just picked this up last week but haven't had the time to play it yet. I really enjoy these duel decks since all my magic experience is through the video game version and I don't have enough experience to really make a good deck myself. This way me and my wife can play and have a fairly equal playing field with not too much experience. But I got to admit she still beats me most the time since I have the worst luck and rarely get a good hand to start off with.lol
I'm glad you got yours ^_^ . And thank you bud, that means a lot. It's nice to think that the material created is not just some text that will not be read. As for the decks and how they fair against each other, I tried to infer that they are balanced in their own way but I think you are right, I don't think I out right said that they were. Thank you for the feedback :) . Novus
