BT Games: "The return of Carmageddon has reminded us of all those games franchises that were killed off before their time. Here are five classics in need of a reboot."
Yes to these!!! Onimusha and tenchu are awesome, played them to death.
But my hopes are dimmed, crapcom <_<
Would like to see some classics from Square days/snes and PSX days, to name a few:
Secret of Mana Chrono Trigger Front Mission Romancing Saga Xenogears Breath of Fire Saga Frontier Legend of Mana Bouncer Parasite Eve Vagrant Story Radiata Stories ehrgeiz Bahamut Lagoon
and the list goes on ... but yet again it's square enix T__T
Grandia, Dini Crisis, The Legend of Dragoon, Skys of arcandia and wild arms deserves a mention !!
But hey look at the $$$$$ potential which they don't see
Banjo-Kazooie really needs another game that played like the classics. More old style platformers would be welcome, especially since the market is overflowing with action games and shooters.
"Perfect Dark Zero was clearly focus-grouped up to its neckhole. The Blade Runner-inspired tone of the original dispelled for day-glo Saturday Morning Cartoon misery."
That doesn't really strike me as being 'obviously focus-tested,' especially when considering the wealth of grey shooters the market's been clamoring over for around a decade. From start to finish, that sort of colorful campiness seemed to be what the developers were going for.
Banjo Kazooie an actual platformer like the nuts and bolts teaser trailer made it out to be, Blast corps, Jet Force Gemini, Perfect dark, And as other people suggested above Onimusha and Dino Crisis would be amazing. A new Shenmue is always wanted just never delivered ;( F-Zero Wii U wouldn't go amiss either ;)
BOMBERMAN!
Shenmue is not dead it lives on in my memories, heart and whenever I decide to plug in my DC.
freedom fighters!
Legend of Dragoon and Super Mario RPG Legend of the seven stars(forget that paper mario nonsense)
Onimusha
